After a busy festive period and spending much time with friends in celebrations, I decided to have a lone day and refresh my mind. On 2nd January 2014, I thought it would be wise to have lunch all by myself in a comfy restaurant with plenty of delicacies and beverages that would quench my irking thirst. A close comparison of the services offered in various restaurants left only one desirable destination: Archi's restaurant in Las Vegas. I, therefore, organized myself, dressed casually, and proceeded to my destination.

Archi’s offers moderately priced meals which makes them affordable to most people. There are table side services; this makes it an excellent example of a family restaurant. It offers quite a wide variety of home-style favorites together with 40s-style dishes. Unlike other restaurants, Archi’s does not combine food elements from other cultures outside Thailand. Their recipes adhere to those of a Bangkok family passed down from generation to generation . Their theme reflects Thailand’s culture, recipes, and values. This creates an awesome harmony between all these elements, something that ensures that high quality and crucial goodness have been retained.

The restaurant is strategically located just next to Regal Cinemas in Village Square hence being conveniently accessible before or after a movie. Its furniture is just tantalizing: wooden shutters, chairs, and tables. Bangkok themed furniture matches the decor on the walls and floor thus enticing the customers. The walls and the floor have been magnificently decorated to reflect the majesty of Bangkok’s culture and the recipes used in the restaurant.

Taking a meal at Archi’s is undoubtedly the remedy I needed for the festive fever I had. Waiters in their best-fitting uniform approached me in the friendliest manner and took my order. They asked what level of spiciness that I would prefer according to their 1-10 spicy scale. I preferred 6 which is not so spicy. The amazing background music heals the mind and brings a wonderful relaxation which makes one realize the power of music regarding the human mind.

Archi’s offers not only classic but also the new dishes that amazingly combine with the five known vital flavor groups: sour, sweet, bitter, salty bitter and hot which in combination make the dishes burst with aroma and health benefits. Here, even the condiments are made freshly, including chili-garlic mix and curry paste. Thanks to healthy menu entries, Archi’s comfortably accommodates vegetarians, diabetic as well as other special diets for various groups of people. The different levels of spiciness enable the restaurant to provide their customers with meals of their preferred taste.

The restaurant has a vast choice of dishes and beverages, which makes Archi’s more competitive as compared to the other restaurants in the city. To start with, food offerings include: Pad Thai, Sweet Sour, Broccoli, Pepper Steak, Fried Rice, Pad Pak, Red Curry, Kung Pao, Ginger Ginger Ginger, and Spicy Basil. There are also many various beverages like soft drinks, Thai Iced Coffee, Iced Tea, Thai Iced Tea, Coffee, Hot Tea, Orange Juice, Cranberry Juice, Lemonade Arnold Palmer Fiji 500 Ml. I had curry which was served with steamed rice. The curry I ordered did not have any coconut milk base; I heard waiters calling it country style. It was dipped in a chicken broth which gave it an appetizing savory. I later ordered orange juice to wash down the delicious meal. This combination of quality food made me find the charged prices very reasonable.

I needed no reservation, because I was not coming in with anyone else. I was also assured that I would get the restaurant operational as I had overheard its popularity from many of my friends. This gave me the confidence to visit the restaurant without making any prior reservation. Another additional advantage was that I visited the restaurant during its off-peak and, therefore, did not face any challenge of congestion. Fortunately a friend of mine had warned me against visiting Archi’s after 6pm, because at that time, the restaurant gets extremely busy and picks up very many customers.

Being quite an observant person, I am normally very particular on what I want and the services rendered to me in any premise I visit. I can honestly confess that Archi’s is one among the few places where I have experienced a perfect service. I particularly appreciate their services as awesome and just the best for a customer who hates delays. The employees are the friendliest ever and the most attentive knowing exactly what to offer to their customers in order to please them. Their positive attitude towards customers could be a major explanation as to why the restaurant attracts the huge amount of customers. This can further be explained by their use of a proper not just oral but also body language, even eye contact.

Any profession requires certain skills, traits, and competencies in order to do the job effectively. In a restaurant environment, employees should be able to offer excellent services that will make the first-time customers desire to return to the restaurant and also retain them. This may include things like serving exactly what a customer has ordered, using a friendly body and oral language, having a proper menu and tolerance in answering any questions that a customer may ask. This is exactly what one finds at Archis.

Almost everything in the curry I ordered was perfect apart from shrimp which was a bit overcooked. Also, I felt that the orange juice was somewhat expensive as it was canned and without refills. This is, however, not a big problem, because after talking to a nearby waiter about it, I was offered some chicken broth for recompense and assured that next time it would not happen.

Archi’s ensures that one gets the services he/she deserves, and being a 40’s restaurant, its style and theme takes one on a trip back to the 1940s. One of the advantages is its location next to the Monterey Bay Aquarium which makes the restaurant quite strategic, and the caring staff makes one feel perfectly catered for. Whether one visits the restaurant alone, with friends or with family, quality meals, awesome moments, and superb relaxation are guaranteed. It is for these reasons that I would not restrict myself from visiting the restaurant again to try out more dishes.
