Reading method.

Draw experimental diagrams and what the author did. It should include all the details needed to fully understand the research work.

Read the results section.

Write one or more paragraphs summarizing the results of each experiment and each table. Don't read the meaning of the results first, just write down the results. Read the conclusion (or comment and discuss).

What does the author think is the result? Do you agree with the author's point of view? Can you think of other ways to interpret the results? Are the authors aware of any flaws in their discussions? Have you found what the author missed? (Don't think they are foolproof!) What do they advocate for the next step? Do you agree?

Go back to the beginning and read the summary.

Is the abstract the same as the author's statement in the paper? Does this have anything in common with your explanation of this article?

Know what other researchers think of this article.

Who is an expert in this field (recognized or self-proclaimed)? Do you foresee any criticism of this seminar? Or are they all supported? Don't ignore this step! Please pay attention to the reference value of the paper: the influence factors of the publication, the number of citations of scientific papers can reflect the reference value of the paper. But pay attention to how other papers citing this paper evaluate this paper.
