Google Chrome is a freeware web browser. It is a commonly used search engine    tool in computers, iOS devices and Smartphone’s.There is endless data available on Google Chrome search engine by which any user can search any related topic he or she wishes.  Sometimes while using it, unwanted sites appear on the screen, which is very disturbing and might affect the computer functioning. So to protect yourself and your computer from other unwanted sites by Block Site feature called Personal Blacklist. But it works only on Google Chrome for desktop browsers.

 Using Block Site on Desktop

1. Launch the Block Site page. This page will help the user to install Block Site.
2. Block Sites permits the user to either block individual pages or entire websites. It also lets you set a password, which in the end helps not to allow other computer users to change your block list.
3. Press Add to Chrome. At the upper-right side of the page a blue color button would be visible.
4. Press Add extension when prompted. At the top of the page user can find the option. Simply hit prompts Block Site to install.
5. Hit the Block Site icon.At the upper-right side of the Chrome page a user can see a shield –shaped option. A pull-down menu will appear.
6. Press Edit block sites list. A user may find this in the pull-down menu. It opens the Block Site page(at the top-right corner of the pull-down menu there is a gear-shaped icon by which a user can open the Block Site page).
7. Add a website. Just near the top of the page press the “Enter a web address.” Then a user can type the address of the website that he or she wants to block.

Important: if a user wants to block any particular page on the website, just go the same page, then copy the address by pressing the address bar at the top of the window and then clicking Ctrl+C (Windows) or CMD plus C (Mac).

• Press plus. At the right to the website text field. Users website will get immediately added to Block Site’s list of blocked websites.

Important: Site can be removed from the Block Site blacklist anytime simply by pressing the red circular option next to site’s link.
