In relationships, you have to keep your focus on the right things to make it work. If you love someone, you try your best to win this person over. This is not a valid email, please try again. Dating, by definition, is to do an activity with someone you have might have a romantic relationship with or to go on a date or several dates with someone. The date can be with anyone you want. If you're dating someone, and I mean actually dating, you're just going out on a casual basis and having some fun. It can be with whoever you want and you can go bowling, out to dinner, go see a movie, etc. And you don't have to explain it to anyone, you know why? Because that person, whoever it is, is just a friend and you're just having fun. Now that you know the truth and the difference between being in a relationship and dating, go out on a date with your significant other if you have one. Have some fun while you're young. You're only young once and you need to live it up while you can. Soon it won't be so easy anymore. We've all been there before when we just aren't sure if we are ready to seriously start a relationship with someone or not. It can be tricky to figure these kinds of things out because sometimes you may like someone a lot but you just aren't sure if you are ready to make it official. So, then you end up dragging things on and people get hurt anyway. Your focused on other aspects of your life It is totally normal to be busy, but some people just a have a lot in their life going on and if that's you then maybe a relationship isn't the best thing for you at the moment. Relationships require time and effort and you are too busy with other things in life to make adequate time for it. Maybe you just got a new job, or bought a new pet, or maybe school is just a lot right now. If you are feeling overwhelmed already by these things, then a relationship could add to your stress. You are unhappy with yourself This one goes with that old saying that goes 'if you can't love your self, how can you love someone else? You need to be able to love who you are and accept you're self for all of your flaws, before you can let someone else love you. You don't want to put someone else in a situation in which they are in love with you, but you are just so unhappy with yourself that you can't accept that they feel that way about you. You have poor communication skills This one is a big one. If you can't effectively communicate with someone, then how can you expect things to work out? You need to be able to tell your significant other how you are feeling so that you can work through things, rather than just shutting down. If this is not something that you can do, then you need to try and work on that so that you can open yourself up to someone else and to have the best shot at having a successful relationship. Your still not over your ex You will not be able to fully give yourself to someone else if you can't get over your last relationship. Maybe you just need time to get over it, but regardless of the situation, it is rarely a good idea to start something new with someone else if you still aren't over the last person. Your too immature If you act like a child still and are making bad choices, then you may not be ready for a relationship. No one wants to date someone that acts like a child, so if you are constantly realizing that you are making bad decisions and are acting immature, then you need to learn responsibility, because relationships depends on that. Coming from an eternally single gal during every holiday season, it's fun to think about what it's like to have someone by your side for the holidays. I love the holiday season because I get to see my family and eat SO. Oh, and presents too, we cannot forget those. What would bring everything full circle is to have a person to share all this joy with. I'm one of the only cousins in my family, on both sides, who is single, and always has been. My other cousins always had boyfriends or girlfriends, and I was always so jealous that it was just me and my plate of honey baked ham striking up a conversation. While it sucks to be single, I know my time will come where I no longer won't be. I'll find the guy who wants to take those stupidly annoying but also super cute couple pictures with me just to make me happy. He's going to meet my family, the most important people in my life. I feel that I wouldn't want to introduce just any old guy to my family, it has to be someone that holds a substantial place in my heart and in my future. This is not a valid email, please try again. Relationships are important to me, and I don't feel like making an effort with anyone unless they can meet my family. We meet so many people in our lives, and I don't want to bring anyone into my life that won't make a positive impact on both mine and the people around me. I don't know what it is about the holiday season that makes us all want to be boo'd up, but I'm so ready for it. I want fireside cuddling, or making cookies while watching The Nightmare Before Christmas. You can only cuddle your dog so much, or your pillow. I know you're used to having your own independence and just doing you, but this time of the year calls for a constant cuddle buddy. Cold weather and stealing hoodies are upon us. Find you a man, and take those cute pics.
